Thank you for visiting CHS's Comets Care Page!   One of the hottest clubs on campus, crossing all grade levels!

This club is devoted to nurturing compassion, kindness, and caring in our students.  All students will participate in fundraising activities from the brainstorming of our newest project, product development, and advertising and sales of our final products. 

This is a great way to get involved with others who have that charitable spirit. Meetings will be held during PowerBlock/Smart Lunch and product development will take place after school on dates to be determined. Come join us! Dues are just $10.00 for the semester.

Fundraisers for 2012:  Sweat pants! They are very popular and hard to keep in stock, so we have a rotating order with Image Builders... pick up one box, order another the same day.  The sweat pants are Black with side pockets and open ankle. COMETS is written in big, bold, blue letters down the left leg... they look great.  On sale to students and other community members for $20.00. Club members and staff pay only $17.00.

We are also painting and selling frames again this year.  This was a huge success in our 2009 campaign, and the kids would like to do this again.  Frames will be painted by our relay artists and sold right off the table.  They hold a 3 x 5 picture and sell for just $3.00

Last year's club put together the following events:                   The Ellinger Family: Christmas ornaments made to help pay off medical bills  The Wounded Warrior Projects: monetary donations for disabled vets.     A Christmas gift shopping for "angels" in need - $2,000 spent on kids ;)       American Cancer Society's Relay for Life donations.
