In 2006, a new organization was added to the Clayton High club list. August 25, 2006 marked the first day of the Clayton High DECA chapter's Expedition.

Completing Mission Possible: Experience the Difference
Beginning only its second year, CHS DECA rose to new heights with 54 members. At District 3 MCEC this chapter took the competition out at the knees. At NC CDC this chapter took everybody by surprise wiping out the competition.

During the 2009-2010 school year, our DECA chapter continues to strive for success. We reached new heights in the number of students participating at the district competition. Students worked hard on marketing papers in advanced marketing courses and will submit them at the state competition.

During the 2010-2011 school year, CHS's DECA membership hit a peak at 74 members. Our club reached new heights and success at competition with the highest number of students attending the ICDC.

During the 2011-2012 school year, CHS's DECA has put a focus on creating civic awareness within our organization. We successfully implemented 2 service projects. The club has continued to take part in state events and remains active in local activities at the school level.
