Agendas are distributed to Board Members, schools, and the media.  They are also posted online and are available in the Board Room on the day of scheduled meetings.

The Board of Education consists of seven at-large members who are elected to staggered four-year terms.  Action is taken in accordance with Board Policies that are put in place to govern and guide its operations. Board Polices are available on this website.

The Board encourages public attendance at meetings and welcomes suggestions that provide new insight and innovative ideas for continuous improvement. Citizens interested in addressing the board must be in compliance with Policy Code 1250.  For more information, contact the Deputy Superintendent's office at 919-934-6031.
