Johnston County Schools' Employee of the Month |
"The Right Person in the Right Seat" The right people don't need to be tightly managed or fired up; they will be self-motivated by the inner drive to produce the best results and to be part of creating something great. ~ Good to Great by Jim Collins (2001)
Johnston County Schools and Wachovia/Wells Fargo have partnered to create an employee recognition program for Johnston County Schools' employees. This program, sponsored by Wachovia/Wells Fargo Foundation, will recognize an employee each month who: - Demonstrates excellence in his/her job
- Exhibits a "teamwork" attitude
- Has made a significant contribution to the school district, employees, students and/or the community
- Enthusiastically supports the mission of Johnston County Schools
Do you know someone in the school district's workforce who goes above and beyond the call of duty? All full- and part-time permanent Johnston County Schools' employees may be nominated by a fellow employee, parent, or member of the community. Winners will be notified at his/her workplace and will receive a $50.00 gift certificate from Wachovia/Wells Fargo Foundation, a Certificate of Appreciation from Johnston County Schools, and will be recognized at the monthly Board of Education meeting.
Nominations are made online. Just click HERE. Nominations must be received by the 25th day of each month. Take time to nominate a special person who is moving our school system from good to great!
