Our next large unit is on weather.  We will be using our purple Science books and will be putting the vocab  and notes in our journal.

AM and  PM class:-- We are finishing our Weather unit by talking about fronts, air masses, and other factors that impact our weather and help us to make predictions about the weather. We hope to finish weather by Thursday, April 18th.

Our next unit will be body systems. We will study their main parts and functions as well as understanding the difference between single cell and multicellular organisms. 

Students will keep a Science notebook this year. It will also be in a marble composition book and will contain all of the material for the entire year. It will serve as their study guide for all classroom quizzes as well as a great resource at the end of the year when they review for the Science EOG. We will notify you in the agenda when a Science quiz is planned and will tell you what lessons to study for that quiz. This journal should travel home and back to school every day in the binder. This is a great way to review each night what we have covered in class. There may not be something new everyday, however, they should review any vocabulary on a nightly basis.
