North Johnston High School and William Barnes are synonimous with one another. William was selected as the, "Classified Employee of the Month" for Johnston County Schools this month. Besides being a great father, William serves as a role model to the students that walk the halls of North Johnston High every day. In his role as head Custodian, he serves us all diligently here at NJHS. We count ourselves blessed to have him everyday.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Barnes when you see him. He is very deserving.

Congratulation to Evelyn Herring, North Johnston's 2012 Leading With the Heart recipient. Evelyn has been impacting the lives of children in the North Johnston community for several years. Junior Leadership Johnston is a program to assist students in their efforts to prepare for leadership positions in business, community, education, and government affairs. If you are a sophomore with an A/B grade average and are interested in being part of the Junior Leadership of Johnston, further information and applications are available in Ms. Wyman's office in student services.
