A school-wide Title 1 program allows schools that qualify to use Title 1 money to pay for educational programs for the whole school. (Schools with 40% or more of children from low-income families qualify for school-wide Title 1 programs.)

* teachers and other support staff
* resources, such as computers or computer labs
* variety, such as group activities and workshops
* professional development for teachers and other staff
Title 1 money may be combined with other funds to pay for new programs.

Cooper Elementary is a Title 1 school and we will use these added funds to enhance our programs and maximize the benefits to your child.
