Welcome to North Johnston High School's Career Center!

The Career planning process involves YOU (students), teachers, parents, guidance counselors, career development coordinator, and the community.  The goal is to help you make good decisions for yourself and your future.  The process helps you develop and implement an individual career plan.

Here at NJ we will help all students plan for their career by: helping them create a four year plan, taking field trips to career fairs and local colleges, offering opportunities to job shadow and ultimately getting hands on by completing the Graduation Project.

Please visit Mrs. Phillips, your North Johnston High Career Development Coordinator (CDC), in Room 408 or e-mail aprilphillips@johnston.k12.nc.us to review your career planning process.

This site hopefully contains information that will be helpful as you plan for your future.

"You have brains in your head.  You have feet in your shoes.  You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  You're on your own.  And you know what you know.  And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..."  Dr.  Seuss
