 Homework Assignment Information
Please check Homework assignment tab on the left for assignments and classroom information.  Weekly spelling words are also listed in each student's folder

 Remember, there are no homework assignments on holidays. 

 Homework week May 13 - 17 

 Math worksheet; Three squares or two squares per night by day of the week.  Spelling Homework: Write each word 3 times each or choose a square each night from Spelling tic tac toe sheet
Reading; (Book in folder) Read 20 minutes and sign reading log 

Spelling words will be based on phonic and spelling inventory skills.  This is a short test used to identify group placement based on student skill mastery.  Students will have the same words the first week to get them into the homework routine.

Spelling tests will be every Friday; except for short weeks.

  Writing center words/spelling words will be a review of phonic skills 

(Your child is in one of these 3 groups. He/she will know which group.) 

 Bears: boss, toss, moss, loss, cross

Elephant: grow, show, slow, crow, flow 

Clown: creature, mixture, fracture, texture,future
